I commissioned Beth to come into our organization to assess the current situation with our hosting infrastructure environment and determine what the primary issues were. Once the assessment was complete, she identified several key projects to stabilize the current environment and prepare for the growth needed to serve our existing and new customers. These included implementing ITIL processes for Change Management, Capacity Management including a hosting cost model, IT Service Continuity Management, and Deployment Management. In addition, she built a business case for providing an equipment refresh and moving our current infrastructure to a hybrid cloud environment, presented it to the C-Level Leadership team for approval, worked with the IT team to architect the solution and build the project plan that resulted in the production environment being moved to one data center with the test environment being moved to a separate data center to enhance our DR capability. These strategies, plans and processes were instrumental to our company’s survival.
